Steven A. Meek Architects has designed numerous worship centers featuring large auditoriums, seating from 200 to 800 people, as well as classrooms, gymnasiums, offices and libraries.  Our auditorium design experience involves raised platform stages, back-of-house amenities, restrooms and changing rooms while allowing for ADA stage access.  Multiple multi-media projection screens, stage lighting, acoustical noise control, and AV booths or rooms are also included in the design programs of these facilities.
 

Chestnut Baptist Church
Ellensburg, WA
 

A new 250 seat Worship Center addition and support facilities to an existing church. The worship center featured tiered balcony seating,a platform stage, and lighting to serve a variety of
functions.  

 

 

 

Dishman Baptist
Spokane Valley, WA

This design consisted of a new 10,000 square foot 400 seat Worship Center with administrative offices and the remodel of the previous worship center into classrooms. The sanctuary was set up as a platform stage serving multiple functions including, singing, speaking, drama, etc. and included choir seating.

 

 

 

CrossPointe Baptist Church
Vancouver, WA
 

A new 20,000 square foot building consisting of a 400 seat sanctuary and classrooms.  The existing buildings on the campus were remodeled and updated to meet current codes as well as creating an aesthetic that was more accommodating to the client’s vision. The sanctuary  was set up as a platform stage serving multiple functions including, singing, speaking, drama, etc.

A new 400 seat Worship Center addition and support facilities to an existing church. The layout of the sanctuary served multiple functions including, singing, speaking, drama, etc. and featured a platform stage with choir seating at the back.  



 

 

 

First Baptist Church of Colville
Colville, WA

New 3,200 square foot additions to the existing Worship Center including new entry vestibule and lobby and new sanctuary seating and platform addition with support facilities were provided to the existing church. The layout of the sanctuary served multiple functions including, singing, speaking, drama, new baptistery and featured a platform stage with backstage dressing rooms.
