Alliant Building
Liberty Lake, WA
Located in Liberty Lake, Washington, the 20,000 square foot Alliant Securities Building was commissioned jointly by a private owner/developer partnership to include their company offices. The design features a three story entrance lobby, public seating areas, and an outdoor plaza. The building placement on the site was the result of an extensive site analysis that minimized blasting and rock mitigation in order to address the client’s primary budgetary concerns. Traditional materials and details were used to reflect the surrounding commercial and residential developments.
AmericanWest Bank Building
Spokane, WA
The AmericanWest Bank Building is five stories in height, 56,000 square feet and was completed in April of 2004. The owner expressed a desire to have a first class “bricks and mortar” building. Steven A. Meek Architects incorporated traditional downtown Spokane architectural elements with a modern style. The exterior design features brick detailing, large Chicago-style windows, custom wrought iron
railings and rich pavement patterns. The interior is captured by cherry paneling and has a state-of the art HVAC, power and communication system.

Home to Steven A. Meek Architects, this contemporary 2,000 square foot office space features a modern reception desk, a large conference room with presentation tack panels and lighting. An open work area allows for easy collaboration and team interaction. A large center island separates the workstations from the materials storage and utility areas and provides a generous layout space for drawings and materials. A Semi-private principal's office, archive storage room and a break room are also included. The workstations stretch along the northern wall of the space allowing natural daylight to flood the entire office.

This beautiful northwest style expansion of the Jewelry Design Center in Spokane, Wa continued the existing imagery and seamlessly enlarged their showroom, lab and upper level offices, while upgrading the existing building accessibility and code requirements with sprinklers and an elevator.
